The Forrest Spence Fund served 329 people a delicious and free dinner and handed out over 500 presents to patients, siblings, and caregivers. We had over 50 of the very best volunteers who spent time encouraging, serving, and loving families who have a family member admitted at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Absolute Moving Company donated their services to help us transport all the presents to the hospital and Jim’s Place Grille donated the cupcakes and drinks for the dinner. We are so thankful for both of them!
At the end of the night we gave the Emergency Department over 300 toys to pass out to children who come in over the holidays and also gave the Nurse Family Partnership team over 100 presents to give out to families when they visit them in their homes. The Forrest Spence Fund feels strongly about loving and serving these families all year long, not just during the holidays but it sure is fun at Christmas to do more to make sure they feel loved and cared form.

An objective of the Forrest Spence Fund is to grow solutions larger than the needs presented to us. As you can imagine, this is a lofty goal that cannot be met without your support.
